Comparison of outcomes of foreign-born and native-born New Yorkers.

This study compares the economic and housing outcomes of English-proficient native-born and foreign-born New Yorkers. Data are organized by educational attainment, including those with a high school education or less, some college or an associate degree, and a bachelor’s degree or higher. The comparison covers seven key indicators: income, unemployment, poverty, working poverty, full-time employment, homeownership, and rent burden. The goal is to better understand how nativity influences outcomes among similarly educated individuals.
